Ofsted Report

It is my pleasure and privilege as the Head Teacher of Bedlington Station Primary School, to welcome you to our school website.  It has been designed as a resource for both existing and new parents and we hope you will find it interesting and useful.

We believe Bedlington Station to be a unique school, a “hidden gem” that has been providing children with high quality education for over 100 years.   We are a nurturing, happy, community school, enabling learning through a stimulating, exciting and challenging environment.  I am passionate that we continue to create a truly outstanding school built on the secure foundations of excellent teaching, supported by a memorable, creative curriculum and with consistently high academic outcomes for all learners.

We are proud of our challenging curriculum, one that gives knowledge and skills for life as well as developing core attributes and values in all our children.  Our ultimate aim is that the children of Bedlington Station leave us as happy, successful, articulate, aspirational and empathetic young people, eager for the next stage of learning in their lives

Starting school or choosing a new school can be an exciting but also anxious time for you and for your child. If you are a prospective parent and would like to get in touch with the school to arrange a visit or would like to ask any questions about the school please don’t hesitate to contact us.  We actively encourage visits to our school so that you can experience the ethos and positive atmosphere first hand.

Together, we will make Bedlington Station Primary an exciting place in which your children can learn, grow and flourish and I look forward to welcoming you to our school and our community.
